Is it red... or just pink? Sometimes beef still looks pink after being int he slow cooker even though it's fully cooked. And beef doesn't even have to be fully cooked. Your best bet for all cooking in the future is to purchase a food thermometer. Then you can check all your meats' internal temperature to make sure they are cooked properly.

Looks like my angle fish is going to die as I was misinformed by the petshop. Right now he looks like he is struggling to stay afloat. :( I treated the water for chlorine used Tetra easy balance for the nitrates and have a heater in the tank and have been doing 50% water changes every other day. Weird syptoms what might be the cause?

I've been feeling slightly sick all day today and I had to work. sure enough the air conditioning at my job is broken down and I do lots of heavy lifting and hard work. Needless to say I was very hot and sweaty plus sick to my stomach. I drank lots of water/poweraid/gatoraid and different liquids but I had a hard time eating becuase of my stomach. I ended up just getting a 1/4 pound of pastami and eating that for lunch but I didnt eat breakfast. I reached about 95 inside my works warehouse CIm the recievier for Longs and have to ware the uniform aswell which doesn't breathe very well. by the end of the day I was exhausted, I went home slept alittle then ate a small diner. Now Im felling like someone is sitting on my chest and you know the way your leg feels when it falls asleep? I have that over my entire body and face its scary. Can I change the timer on Windows Media Player to count up and not count down?

Hi I have WMP 12 on Windows 7. When I play music the timer to the left of the player controls in my library (left of the shuffle and repeat options) only displays a countdown, aka the time left to the end of the song. It used to be the other way around, showing the time elapsed. I'd like to know if there's any way I can change it back and what made this change happen. Also worthy of note: when I change to the now playing view the time shown is the time elapsed and not the time remaining, like the time I want in the library view.

When you say welfare most people put social security in a different cl since most people who get it when they retire have paid into it for over 40 years. Now with that said, there have been many people who abused welfare. Women having more babies so they can claim more. I worked retail in a poor area a few years ago and saw how some of these people had it down to a science, really working the system. Welfare is something we must have but we must not let it be abused. Yes, Clinton did a good job by cutting the numbers. What these people do is that several families will live together and share in expenses and just collect welfare and live that way indefinitely with NO intention of working. Just a little bugged...?

Ok so this morning I woke up with a bug bite on my toe, and after taking a shower discovered a small bug at the bottom of the tub... upon research I believe that it is either an earwig or a roach nymph. It has long antennae, 6 legs, has two tiny pincher looking things on its backside, is thin and is about 1 cm in length, not including the antennae (about the size of a large ant). Upon further inspection I realized that I had 3-4 more bites on my feet. Should I be worried about the bites or more bugs in my bed??

Ok, my friend, who is computer illiterate, asked me for help with ebay. She wanted to get her 8 year old daughter a keyboard because she is learning piano. I showed her several options on ebay and she chose a really fancy one, that ended up costing $270. I bid on it for her, and then she didn't have the money to pay for it right then, so i paid for it with the understanding that she would pay me back when she got paid. So, the keyboard came, and it has a dent in it that makes 3 of the keys stick. Also, it is a mide keyboard and does not make any sound on its own. Neither of us know how to set it up. She does not want it hooked up to her computer, and apparently that's the only way it will work. She is dissatisfied with and has yet to pay me. I need my money but want to keep her as a friend. Af is 35 days late today, I took a test on thursday and it was negative. I am usually very regular and have never been more than 1 week late. My hubby and I are ttc this is month number 4. PS3 controller shows no sign of life until I plug the cable into the PS3 and it presumably starts to charge. I left the controller in to charge (the lights were flashing) for 3 hours. I took the cable out, and the lights now do not flash unless the cable is in the PS3 or PC. What's going on?

How can I get rid of a long term sinus infection?

I have had a sinus infection since I was diagnosed with swine flu september 28, 2009. I get terrible headaches and feel very fatigue. I also have been coughing and gagging up green mucus, sometimes brown with blood in it, or sometimes it white. I have seen 2 different doctors, one at school, and one at home. My school doctor said i had a sinus infection in november, by which I was put on an allergy pill. I saw him again in december, still had a sinus infection. This time I was put on penicillin and a decongestant. Over winter break I felt very tired and did not get out of bed for 6 days. My home care doctor tested me for mono, and strep. Tests came back negative. He put me on tamiflu and a val pack of steroids. Nothing worked, so when I came back to school, I saw my school doctor. He said he has no idea why my sinus infection wont go away, so he gave me amoxicillan 500 mg 3 times a day and mucinexD. I am on my last day of the 10 day treatment and nothing has changed. If anything I feel more tired, and more congested. How can I get better?

Out of the answers available I would say (A) its hockey the girls come after in the hotel. I think the most pointless thing in hockey today is the T.V. time outs it really ruins the tempo of the game. Infant won't let me put him down in the daytime?

My son is 8 wks old. He sleeps fairly well at night (4-6hrs) and takes a morning nap (30-45min) and an early evening nap (1-2hrs long). However, during the day, I cannot put him down. He doesn't like a sling, a carrier, a carseat, a swing or a bouncy chair. He cries after only a few minutes in each (of course, I have to have him in a carseat in the car- he cries until he finally falls asleep). He doesn't "do" pacifiers either. Any other suggestions from others? Strollers only remotely successful during walks - he usually cries until he falls asleep in strollers. Swadling doesn't work either. He really is a happy baby as long as someone is holding him. My pediatrician recommends letting him cry, but I'm not really comfortable with that. Thanks

I know that in some circles and religious groups (think Purity and Abstinence only education) its like virginity or death but in most areas people who are virgins made fun of. There wast this girl on Tyra who said that she was called a prude for still being a virgin. She's still 16! I really think Valenti should write a book about this phenomenon. Wedding ceremony locations in Indianapolis?

We are getting married on July 10, 2010 in Indianapolis, IN. I am wanting to have my wedding in the evening outside either in a pretty garden or on the c downtown. Home Loan Question?

I am purchasing a home currently, but I have not closed, nor have I signed any doents finalizing anything... I have placed a deposit only for $6,000. The house has now been appraised under what the company is selling it to me for(kbhomes)... Because of this, the loan company (Countrywide) is wanting to change my loan from 100% to now wanting me to put 3% down. Before this everything was fine, I have already been approved for the total amount of the home loan (100% financing), we're just waiting to close and the house to be finished. But now CW wants to change up the loan... is there anything I can do? I don't think i should have to put anymore money down.

Help with german shep. Behavior?

Ok..im a vet tech of 5 yrs and I have a 2 yr old german shep female spayed dog. the doctor I work for have tried to help with some issues shes having but no success. We even put her on a natural anxiety med to help calm her...no use. I think she needs ceaser but thats not gonna happen. Her problem is first I have four cats and she is obsessed with only one. Shes the only female kitty also. She watches her...stalks her...wants the cat in her mouth..but doesnt ever hurt her. To watch them it's almost like the dog is in love with this cat ...the behavior is never aggresive toward that cat. I just want someone to make sense of it. Secondly she rides in the car almost everyday and if we see a dog she goes completely balistic..i have no clue how to fix this. And lastly...the most serious...she has a house mate a little 7lb jack chi and they get along for the most part and I take her to a off leash dog park often...recently our trips their have been bad. She lashes out at other dogs when they come up to sniff her or smell her while she pees or poops. Also gets upset when dogs she doesnt know comes up to me. I just need tips on how to help her. Ill never give up on her ...most everyone has but not me ...we'll deal with this forever if we have 2...

Need help from a computer nerd! AMD changing FSB?

I have an old elite mobo (ECS 760gx-m) S754. It came with a 1.6gh cpu which i replaced today with a 3400+ 2.2gh AMA3400BEX5AR. The computer recognized the cpu as the 3400+ no problem, it even recognizes the 1mb L2 cache. It was still operating at 1.6gh so I changed the FSB to the max allowable 255 (from 200). problem is it is only operating at 2039MH instead of the 2200mh it should be. My software (everest home) says its overclocked 27% wtf! I dont know much about pc tech so if any suggestions to get my cpu closer to the 2200mh would be appreciated.

I haven't had this problem till after I just reinstall windows xp pro about a month ago. Anyways, I notice this problem after running 3DS MAX 8 and when I rendered a frame the program would blink or jitter and the render window would disappear behind the actual program. Also when I clicked on the navigation bar drop down list the screen would do the same thing and the list would disappear until I rescrolled over it again and the list would somewhat reappear. Other programs like audacity would blink and flash reapeadetly while i was using it. This is the only really big probelms I have had and I have instaled the latest display drivers. Oh yeah I have an ati all in wonder 9800 pro and it is displaying at 60hz 1280 X 1024 and I am using NEC LCD1850X. I have the latest direct x 9c so I cant figure out what is the problem.

She refuses to eat veggies! now anemic?

Shes my neice i live with her and her mother and her grandparents. She eats mcdonalds ice cream and thats it. She will eat carrots with ranch but thats it. I cant mix veggies with stuff she will pick them out with out even trying them. If shes sees green or red or any color she doesnt like she wont eat it she is 8 and getting fat. There is disturbing violence in some R movies but the gore in this movie is vampires eating blood (nothing that bad). If you liked I am legend or if you like the Underworld movies then you should check it out. I am not saying it is the greatest movie ever made but I liked it.
