Why do people insist that most welfare recipients are career users?

When you say welfare most people put social security in a different cl since most people who get it when they retire have paid into it for over 40 years. Now with that said, there have been many people who abused welfare. Women having more babies so they can claim more. I worked retail in a poor area a few years ago and saw how some of these people had it down to a science, really working the system. Welfare is something we must have but we must not let it be abused. Yes, Clinton did a good job by cutting the numbers. What these people do is that several families will live together and share in expenses and just collect welfare and live that way indefinitely with NO intention of working. When you see someone buying steaks with food stamps and leaving in their new Cadillac you tend to think something is not right with this picture.~
