Save this friendship?

Ok, my friend, who is computer illiterate, asked me for help with ebay. She wanted to get her 8 year old daughter a keyboard because she is learning piano. I showed her several options on ebay and she chose a really fancy one, that ended up costing $270. I bid on it for her, and then she didn't have the money to pay for it right then, so i paid for it with the understanding that she would pay me back when she got paid. So, the keyboard came, and it has a dent in it that makes 3 of the keys stick. Also, it is a mide keyboard and does not make any sound on its own. Neither of us know how to set it up. She does not want it hooked up to her computer, and apparently that's the only way it will work. She is dissatisfied with and has yet to pay me. I need my money but want to keep her as a friend. Please help.
