My son still sleeps in feet pajamas..?

We're in California, and it's HOT. My 3 year old son insists he sleep in feet pajamas (you know, the fleece ones with the feet in them). He will not sleep in short sleeves or shorts. He doesn't sweat at night, so is this okay?
